She was arrested in oakland in january and shes accused of obstruction of justice and aiding and abetting her husband. After he killed 49 people at the pulse nightclub in june. She has pled not guilty. Police are offering a 10,000 reward for information about the person who fired at an Oakland Police officer overnight. The officer, good news, was not hurt. It happened on interstate 880 shortly after midnight. The officer called it in and Oakland Police spotted the vehicle a few minutes later. They chased the driver, but lost him or her. The car was found later near brookdale and 56th street. Officers shut down 880 for about an hour while they look for shell casings and used canines to search the area for the suspect but did not find anyone. New this morning, San Francisco is taking legal action to protect the rights of trans gender students in the city and across the country. The City Attorney announced San Francisco is joining forces with 30 other cities. And they filed a brief with the u. S. Supreme court in support of transgender students rights to be free from discrimination at school and including the right to use the restroom of their choice. Cooling off in santa rosa, napa, livermore and palo alto and the rest low to mid40s under high clouds and stars during the overnight hours. Let me show you this area of low pressure. That is the one coming down toward us from alaska and it is kind of dry and will have cold air and that is why the snow level is down to 2500 feet on saturday night. So the storm impact scale stapes at one. Still going to have light. Maybe an impulse of light rain but the storm is moving so fast that the rain wont have time to pile up and the breezes wont have enough energy to get to damaging levels. The north bay, unfortunately, most of the saturday is wet. By 5 00 you could see the rain e into the rest of the bay with the heavier rain still in the north bay but then it comes through to the rest of us. And by midnight it is already gone. Scattered showers and look at that snow level down to 2,000 feet up in the north bay. Showers through sunday morning even on hamilton and diablo and then scattered showers into the afternoon.
