The investigation into the deadly incident continues, and there are warnings about another possible attack. Heres brian ross. Reporter the new video first broadcast by kenyan tv and cnn shows the panic as the Mall Shoppers suddenly realized what was happening, and then the callous rampage of the gunmen. One victim is shot as he cowers in fear. Others scramble for safety. Only four gunmen are seen on the video. One escorting an injured teen out of the supermarket. At one point, they stop the killing to begin praying. Theyre carrying what appears to be ak47s, automatic versions. Theyre in the middle of shooting people, talking on a cell phone. Reporter u. S. Reporter the fear is someone on the inside of the courts system may have helped with the scheme. They have been ordered to do an urgent document review to see if others escaped. A 22yearold man with a knife allegedly jumped on board and was quickly pursued by police for several miles. Nicholas miller was charged with kidnapping the 11 children on the bus were not hurt including the driver. Lawmakers in ohio are battling over a victims fund for those held captive by ariel castro. In 1998, Joseph Jenkins murdered a father of six and Charles Walker fatally shot a 23yearold man a year later. Both lifers are on the lam, they escaped from this prison not with guns but with cunning. Ive never seen anything like this. You have to give them an a for being imaginative. Reporter they walked free after someone filed these fake documents with a Florida Court clerk who then sent paper ordering a state department correction. A School Investigation found that isabelle diaz, a 28yearold Dance Teacher at South Miami Senior High School gave her students alcohol and rented a postprom hotel room for them. She denied she gave them a basket of alcohol and condoms but a student thanked her for it on facebook. Rather than relating to her students in the capacity of a teacher, she acted as if she was a peer. She was a good teacher but definitely messed up. Charles walker fatally shot a 23yearold man in Orange County a year later. They should be serving life sentences. They walked out of this florida prison free because someone tricked corrections officials. Someone filed fake documents with a Florida Court clerk who then sent the paperwork ordering the state Corrections Department to release the inmates. The documents looked like the real thing with a judges signature cut and pasted from a real court order. The alleged forged signature is that was chief judge belvin perry who oversaw the case of a missing child case. Pierre, ive never seen anything like this. Good friday morning, everyone. We begin this half hour with a new video of the attack on the mall in kenya as it was getting underway nearly a month ago. The investigation into the deadly incident continues, and there are warnings about another possible attack. Heres brian ross. Reporter the new video first broadcast by kenyan tv and cnn shows the panic as the Mall Shoppers suddenly realized what was happening, and then the callous rampage of the gunmen. One victim is shot as he cowers in fear. Others scramble for safety. Only four gunmen are seen on the video. One escorting an injured teen out of the supermarket. At one point, they stop the killing to begin praying. Theyre carrying what appears to be ak47s, automatic versions. Theyre in the middle of shooting people, talking on a cell phone. Reporter u. S. Officials believe the men behind the attack were part of an al qaedaconnected group based in somalia. U. S. Navy s. E. A. L. S unsuccessfully tried to capture one of the groups leaders one week ago. Now the u. S. Has issued a warning to americans that the group may be planning a new attack on another mall, this one in the african country of uganda. We have put out the statement because of our concern and from information available, but in terms of the specificity of that, im not going to outline that. Shortly after the attack, several survivors said one of the attackers was a woman, but the new video shows only men with guns. Joseph jenkins and Charles Walker, both serving life sentences in a florida jail, both got out of prison in the past month after someone filed documents ordering their released that had forged signatures from a florida judge. They cut and pasted my signature to and affixed it to the order. That order was transmitted to the department of corrections and mr. Jenkins was released. Reporter the fear is someone on the inside of the courts system may have helped with the scheme. They have been ordered to do an urgent document review to see if others escaped. Counselors will be available today for students who were on a hijacked bus outside of little rock, arkansas. A 22yearold man with a knife allegedly jumped on board and was quickly pursued by police for several miles. Nicholas miller was charged with kidnapping the 11 children on the bus were not hurt including the driver. Lawmakers in ohio are battling over a victims fund for those held captive by ariel castro.
