They were all taken into custody thursday and now all face felony charges of conspiracy to keep federal workers from doing their jobs through intimidation. They were all apart of a nearly sixweek long standoff at an wildlife refuge that started as a protest over public land use. The fbi says no one was injured and no shots were fird. Meanwhile cliven bundy appeared in court and will now stay in jail until his next Court Hearing on tuesday. Cliven is the father of ammon bundy, who was the leader of that armed group in oregon cliven was taken in to custody when he arrived in a portland tense 2014 armed standoff with federal officials near his ranch in nevada. Hes asked for a courtappointed attorney, a judge said she wanted to see his financial documents first. Fortysix current and former Prison Guards from at least 8 different state institutions in georgia have been arrested. Arrested. The officers are accused of taking bribes and helping deliver drugs s outside of prison. Ernie traugh is a local gun instructor who teaches conceal carry classes for both men and women. I recently took his class to see what conceal carry education is all about. We definitely go over things you have to have an understanding of, you know, can and cant carry. Reason able force and deadly force and making people understand the ramifications of using a firearm. We discussed the very definition of a gun scenarios of shooting an intruder and escaping with your life when defense is not an option. But there are places youre not legally allowed to carry a firearm such as any Us Post OfficeSchool Grounds and federal buildings. There are also people who cannot get a non professional concealed carry permit no matter what those under 21 years old felons military dishonorable discharge and some aliens. The laws might be easy to understand. But if you ever have to use your gun, theres an emotional toll that cant be taught. Its gonna change your life. Youre e going to become a news story and you need to prepare yourself for the changes you have to make in your life, whether its for yourself in many peoples cases.
