The waterloo Cedar Falls Courier reports the crash happened wednesday night on michigans upper peninsula. The Ontonagon CountySheriffs Office says 36 year old Brady Kuennen lost control of his snowmobile, fell off, and hit a tree. The Sheriffs Office says alcohol appeared to be a factor in the crash. Kuennen was a carpenter and the father of three. He was from waucoma, which is about 20 miles east of new hampton. Kuennens funeral will be on monday at st. Lukes Catholic Church in st. Lucas. In a couple of weeks, iowas Medicaid Program is set to transition into a privatelymanaged system. That would take effect on march 1st. Controlled state Senate Passed a bill to stop the change.
