>> no, i would not, bill. >> and the reason that you want to go forward with this system that's kind of chaotic is? >> because we are overreacting to short-term news. look, when we set up the first month 150. same kind of issues facing internationally. people, the law was widely supported by residents of our state. it just take as while. we can't overreact to day-to-day and week to week. long run trend. find somebody who can't sign up even if they want to sign up because that's the situation we have now. >> look, it's -- we have to ask ourselves better, worse or the same. as we mentioned effect them. let's stay on the same playing field. they went up at exactly the national rate. this law will not raise employer insurance premiums and not lower them in the short-term. >> president obama said it would lower them. >> it will lower them in the long term. >> let's be very clear. 3 days before romney care, 50 days now. why the increase in wait? >> that fact is incorrect. if you look at the surveys that were done of doctors, on average, doctor waiting times, which were very high in massachusetts before a law did not go up. they went up for some and down for others. >> this just came out. the massachusetts medical society, july 213, okay, it's ninth annual patients access to care study, that is where i just it crewed you, you say that's bull? >> this is about -- there is no doubt there is large income distribution in this law, bill, can you like it or not. and that's debate for another day. that's fundamentally what this law is about. fundamentally about providing security for americans who today can be wrunt at a moment's notice by having a bad gene or getting in a bad traffic accident. >> i'm with you on preexisting conditions and i am with you on providing health insurance for those who can't provide it for themselves. i'm not with you on the state and the feds doing it i think it can be done private sector i want to have this conversation with you. we appreciate you coming on the program tonight. >> my pleasure, bill. >> next on the program, lou dobbs on americans getting free healthcare as we discussed. is that a good thing?
