This is seven appropriations bills. It includes six other appropriations bills, totaling about 25 of the governments spending. We looked dome i worked on those last year. They were almost all ready to be voted on before christmas. For the most part we have had plenty of time to read the bill. There been some amendments of the Homeland Security bill which has the Border Security part. We have been reviewing that yesterday, and the bill this morning. It looks good to me. And im reading through this, there are several of these appropriations bills. Has this gone far afield from the wall now, when you talk about spending that kind of money to combat something that the president has for . There are all kinds of provisions in this bill. Remember, there are six other probations bills for other parts of the government that have nothing to do with Border Security that we worked on last year and were ready to be passed at christmas. So the only bill that has had significant changes to it is the Homeland Security bill. Speed went all right. William barr knows the attorney general is not any president s lawyer. He is the lawyer for the United States. His job is to represent all of us. The president has his own lawyer in the white house. So im confident that he will conduct his response to the Mueller Investigation in the appropriate way, representing all the people. Not just republicans or independents or democrats. He knows how to be attorney general. We want senator alexander, does this mean in any way, shape, or form that we would see Robert Muellers report . We know that william barr has said that he would follow the protocol for making that is public and transparent as possible. Well, the report in the first place is a confidential report to the attorney general and the department of justice. It would then be up to the attorney general to follow the rules and regulations that exist for the appointment. People have to make that decision. Im not sure what that decision would be. I asked him, what about a president s advice about policy on matters of justice . He said, thats totally inappropriate. I was very concerned that i was able to put the russia case on absolutely solid ground in an indelible fashion, that where i removed quickly or reassigned or fired, that the case could not be closed or vanished in the night without a trace. It reads in part, the Deputy Attorney general never authorized any recording that mr. Mccabe references. The Inspector General report has him lying even to the point of lying about what the Inspector General investigators heard from him. Now that he is pending a criminal case and trying to hawk a book, i think he is just flailing around and coming up with things a try and take the doj down with him. I think its just utterly false to believe any of the things he says. You want to get away from the sale purchase a little bit and get him under oath. Harris the Vice President weighed in on this as well. Lets watch this. This president has been producing for the American People, and it could be more proud to stand with him. The idea that he would actively think the 25th amendment is in play, think you have this coup where the president gets removed because of an amendment that is designed to deal with incapacitated president and not unpopular ones, its ludicrous.
