He explained the story that just came out in the new york tiesms talking about frequent contact between the Trump Campaign and russian officials was not accurate. Was grossly overstated and he wanted him to know that. To which reince replied, great, lets set the record straight. The Deputy Director said ill get back to you. And he said they didnt want to get in the habit of refuting bad stories. Reince says we would like to clear our names because there are serious substantial charges made by the New York Times. Then he said after a conversation with director comey we can say with confidence we have been brief and themes story was inaccurate. If you have ask, many career people will tell you they think they are.
