Wearing the most expensive bra encrusted. Dow chemical and dupont advance talks to merge, a merger can be announced in the next couple of days. Together a cap of some 120 billion. A deal would result in a threeway split. First they merge and then they split it off. Keith mccullough, record and tough deal for the industrial company. You have said in many times its in recession. More than 4 trillion in takeovers over time. Keith thiswhen things slow people have to buy growth and join each other. We cant do this, we didnt do that. Boom, all of a sudden theyre basically agreeing that nelson said and you get a lot of value creation. At least thats what the market is implying. Thats a big move. This is what you to deal daytoday. Everyone is going to agreed to get married at this point. Maria you wonder if this is a forced situation because things are so tough on the industrial side of the economy. Keith its awful. Dagen you can smell the desperation. Keith when you lose pricing power, you do margin. Its a very basic exercise. Effectively youre going see more and more of this provided the deflation instead of inflation. Dagen in a company thats soso, these kind of deals usually result in job losses. Keith yes. Dagen good for shareholders in the stock today but not maria a deal that would trigger a lot of deals. You have to believe that the competitors, the others in the landscape will feel the need to gain scale and also get together. This could be a whole new rush within the chemicals business. Keith they are two of the bigger ones. A loft of the smaller ones have to get less small. This is the kind of deal with the credit market. The credit will have something to say. You cant do big deals with credit risk rising in the marketplace, thats something obviously that happened overnight. Biggest companies out there cut their dividend by 74 . Maria you called that. Keith great analysts kevin said, they wont be able to pay the dividend. Thats an entirely different problem. As dagen pointed out a multiple times, they have sucked people to be in the lmps and morgan was the poster child of yield chasing in the mlp. Maria thats an oil story. Keith industrialpricing story. Its a deflation story. Its one of the biggest Leverage Companies in s p history. Dagen dividend cut in morgan. Keith huge. Dagen dividend cuts and mergers and Companies Going out of business next year. Keith you merge with somebody else, take your savings and take your dividend. Thats not good for the economy. Maria the other top story we are following this story, donald trump, defending his controversial plan to ban muslim immigration plan, increasing support for the candidate, blake burman in washington with the latest. Blake, good morning to you. Blake the Vice President called Donald Trumps comments a dangerous brew. The White House Press secretary says it disqualifies trump from the presidency all together. Trump calls for muslims ban entering the country were widely reviewed from his own party. Paul ryan weighed in, trumps plan is not conservatism. Its something that should be considered in the shortterm. He did not back down on the premise and told Barbara Walters last night he does not regret the proposal. Somebody in this country has to say whats right, i have Great Respect and love. I have people that i have tremendous relationships with, theyre muslim and barbara, they agree with me 100 . Its shortterm. Let the country get its act together. Blake we will see how if at all these impact trump when polls released in the next couple of days. For now though, strongest support in the republican primary. The latest pom out of New Hampshire shows no one is even close to the front runner there. Trump has 32 support in the primary and this right here might give the gop a doubletake. If trump were to run as independent, throwing it out there, twothirds of his supporters would back a thirdparty bid and you can see the split there. Maria if there was a Third Party Independent and he lost because the voters were so divided, hillary win it is election. Blake that is one of the theories. Theres the questions whether its possibility to get on the ballot, but just the fact maria as independent . Blake just the whole thinking and the notion of the risk and the split there is something thats got to give the gop a little bit of a double doubletake. Maria he will be hated after the election. I wonder if hes thinking about that. Blake possibly, trump does what he wants. Keith hated by a few muslims right now. Maybe a few mexicans. Maria wendy, good morning to you. What are your thoughts on this trump fen phenomena . We have something almost daily to discuss. Has that kept him in the spotlight. We were having the same conversations with illegal immigration comments and john mccain. Maria i thought he was out on the john mccain comments. This is not a practical proposal. Its not on our drivers license or passportses, maybe Online Dating profile. But nobody tells the truth there anyway. How would we ever enforce this. Youre wondering if hes not dialing up the rhetoric. Its just a shortterm, i love muslims. Thats not what i meant to convey. They think hes a front runner. Are they going to be put off by this. Maria look at the numbers, you guys. Keith the polls are media driven. People are constantly paying attention to media and he gets the most clicks. Maria every day. Keith itll be interesting for me to watch. This story had played out globally before. Clowns have ran and voted before. You just wake up one day, ill just maria i wouldnt call him a clown. He has a huge following. I dont see him as a clown. Keith clowns are popular. Maria to you but not the ad yendz. Audience. Dagen people are afraid. Well, you well, lets think about what hes really talking about. It would be temporary. So you see slowly but surely people considering what hes talking about in the broad scope. Nobody wishes this on the country, hes not only going win the nomination, hes going to win next year if that happened. Maria so what happens now . A response that we have to comments like this. Theres a certain seghtment of society that thinks i want to stay safe and thats my number one priority. And to those people, comments like these are strong and resinate and that probably is going to explain why hes not going to see a significant drop in the polls. Keith you have multiple candidates on that trump. Maria trump is running on toughness. The current president , president obama is just reluctant to call out terrorism for what its been. Keith the clown versus the possum. Dagen isis is contained. The rhetoric has not been true. Maria hes weak on the terrorism. Dagen Victoria Secret fashion show, thats actually where i met donald trump for the first time. [laughter] dagen ive met him in and malania. You know, hes everywhere. Maria diamond encrusted bra. Maria nothing dagen he knows everybody. Maria coming up terrorist attacks that have left the city of paris on inch. Chipotle not out of the woods yet. This time it is not e. Coli. Back in a minute. Coli but usually lasts about two days where e. Coli can last up to 10. Good news for the kids and this might be kind of good news for potentially chipotle. I dont know. Theyve been getting crushed in the market, pr wise, everywhere. Maria what is nora virus . Cheryl food illness, it can be transmitted to touch. You need to wash your hands a lot. One of those. Maria lettuce and food. Keith a lot of stuff is getting into it. Dagen food handling is a big issue. Nora virus, i dont want to be gross because its early, when you have vomiting and diarrhea. When you have the mass outbreaks, contagious, but it doesnt last that long. Maria weve seen a real reaction from wall street analyst. You are seeing the stock continue to be under pressure because people do not know what the issue is here, whether its nora virus or e. Coli, theres an issue with the preparation of the food at chipotle. Coming off the lowest level in nearly seven years, that has pipeline operator says it will cut dividends 75 . Phil flynn. Phil, what is the move mean for the industry and then you have aangloamerican story cutting 85,000 jobs. Phil crashing prices have consequences. When they crash its even more. The Kinder Morgan is a big story, it puts every Energy Company on guard that there could be more cuts coming. Traders are finding out that that is not the case this morning. But take a look at the oil today. We are back up today a little bit. Up 50 points due to drivedown in inventory according to institute. What that means is that the Energy Industry might be getting ready for the holiday drawdown of invent oirs ahead of the tax season and they may see invent oirs inventories dwindle. Maria i think this angloamerican cutting jobs is totally within this whole story that we have been talking about. The collapse in mining and manufacturing and the industrial side. Keith a lot of people continue to say that its different this time. If you look at the three indicators of recession, when phil said leading indicators are crashing price, if you get a crashing price and your company is hostage to crashing price, you have slowing profits. If they slow is top leading indicators for recession. The next thing that happens is that people get fired. Once they get fired, they lose consumer confidence. When you lose your job youre less confident and you start spending less. A vicious cycle. In other words, whats happening is leading you to whats happening. Maria of course, not. Dagen this feels like the internet bubble and also feels like the financial crisis in some way. People have recommended these companies all the way best and breed. Dominators and you see them falling. The only problem with this is more like banking in some way because this is a leverage business. When you have leverage involve keith it will say a different kind of Energy Company. The ceo, people say, thats not the Something Like that. Unlike the reality is that this is hostage deflation, 42 to 14. Its really like a phone maria now this is really a major issue negative going to 2016 stocks. Keith absolutely. Its down 40 for the year, maria. If you look at the space before the leverage bubble it was 6 million. Maria wow. We will take a short break. Joining us is david, good to see you, thanks for joining us with your take on this huge deal that could happen in the next couple days. The country has not found growth by any other means. In this case we are seeing what looks like a great deal. Maria the industrial recession. The pricing component or what we call the deflation of it all. How do you think of the did correlation in the market versus the tail wagging the dog. It is a little bit of both but lets start with the oil market. When oil started to come down people thought it was purely a supply issue. It is a demand issue and that has shown us the slowdown throughout europe and perhaps there will be a slowdown in the u. S. As well. A lot of people looked at the world of supply and demand, you have this thing called the dollar, a lot of mess that selling dollars, that is your business and a lot of settlement in terms of extra rating. How do you think of that . The entry of the dollar into the supply and demand model and where we are on that debate. Dollars the largest traded market in the world today, 5 trillion a day, 24 hours a day, new zealand is open, closed friday afternoon, the biggest market in the world, helps facilitate trade, monetary policy. Maria what are you seeing in the market . Continued appreciation of the dollar, there was a setback with Mario Draghis disappointing comments. The market underestimates what he is ready to do. He demonstrated throughout his time that he will do whatever it takes, he has said it again. The dollar will resume its appreciation. One of his thrones, basically pumping out his chest saying were not hostage in the market. Do you agree with that . I do agree, the market got ahead of itself last wednesday reporting the great divergence in the ballpark, too many people were in the strait, looking for more than what mario draghi dagen a lot of stupid smart people out there. Good title. Dagen what happens with the fed next meeting to give the fed raises rates. What does that mean . No question the fed has raised rates. Not to do so would cause disruption in the market. What we will see is great diversions will continue and the dollar will reason home its appreciation next year. Interestingly the dollar against the euro hasnt gone very far. It has been in 10 range. We are almost in the middle of that range. Dagen will we be below tomorrow . Absolutely, i think the kind of the fed that will take place in europe will allow the dollar to slowly appreciate. Maria appreciate it very much. Mcdonalds all the breakfast is paying off for the fastfood giant, Nicole Petallides with that story. Nicole mcdonalds is two months into their all the breakfast offer and already seeing increasing success. A new study found one third of the customers who bought breakfast at mcdonalds traditionally scheduled breakfast, had not visited the fastfood chain in the months previous to that purchase the majority of customers who ordered breakfast items did so during lunch hour which has been the slowest growing of all time for the chain. Mcdonalds launched all they breakfast on october 6th in response to consumer demand and is one of the biggest initiatives under chief executive jeff easterbrook. Mcdonalds stock is up 20 since march and there was a lot of bill but to the strategy. It seems to be paying off, statistic is one third of a customers buying breakfast around lunchtime, having been to mcdonalds the previous month. I love it. This was the most not obvious story. If you are like me and go to mcdonalds, at that price, that is one of the best deals in america. You are feeding kids with pancakes, people are starting to actually wake up to how good their breakfast products are. Dagen never underestimate the management of these very large iconic american companies. They are very smart, they move slowly, giant ships that are hard to turn but the people who work there understand the brands and the customer. Maria the ceos said sales, projected in late october, would rise in the fourth quarter. We will hear from mcdonalds in january after the quarter is over the he said he was very encouraged. I love this stock. Would you rather vostok be hot cakes or Kinder Morgan . Dagen you are on mcdonalds for the hash browns, at 3 00 in the afternoon. Cheryl blowing off french fries. The house overwhelmingly approving tightening the visa waiver program, 40719, the Current Program allows citizens of various countries to be in the country for three month without a visa, legislation would require these ups for anyone who has been in iraq or syria for the past five years. We have a better idea how much money lebron james is getting from 90. The Cleveland Cavaliers are and 90 worth a lot more than 500 million. That according to a source i talk to usa today, it is worth more than 30 million annually, no word yet, the cavs won last night, no word if james party and split the bill with his friends again. He could have picked up the tag. Cheryl we have given him a hard time for that. U. S. Lawmakers introducing fresh legislation in response to the shootings in San Bernardino. The new bill will require social Media Companies to report any online terrorist activity. This after president obama urged Technology Companies to cooperate with government investigations in an Oval Office Address sunday. Joining us is j d sherry on Season Technology executive, the first magazine, good to see you. We know thats syed farook was posting about islam, posting about israel, needing to be off the face of the earth. How did we miss this . It comes back to our efforts at mining the internet for these keys and finding the needle in the haystack when it comes to terrorism intelligence. This is a fundamental challenge we face leading up to 911 on how much we are able to from a terrorism perspective diving to these channels to determine what propaganda is, recruitment operations and motives of these radical groups. Cheryl a new day, theyre not hiding in the hills of afghanistan any more. They are on their computers. One of the key things we are looking at is how can we informed the hill . That includes meeting on a regular basis with them around the challenges we have in protecting what i would call lawabiding citizens versus people who want to disrupt and harm the u. S. And everybody across the globe. How do you get around the super hardcore libertarian one liner that says you give up a little bit of your freedom in exchange for security and lose a lot of freedom. How do you get around that and turned that back on its head . This is challenging. The pendulum swings rapidly when it comes to these privacy issues. With encryption on legislation being proposed yesterday around how we manage encryption and opening doors, i think as you and i as citizens if we lose our right to have encrypted communication for not nefarious activity that is a real challenge so within the foreseeable future it will be very difficult for legislation to be passed that would open these doors and open the kimono if you will to allow these types of inspections to happen without a warrant or some kind of circumstantial evidence to drive that so it comes back to the traditional means of counterintelligence and channels that are outside these encryption channels that i think can be mined in a better way. Dagen there raises an issue. When people talk about social media sites and terrorists, the commentary, people talk about pulling it down but when you do that do you send people into the shadows and into places that are harder to police . Isnt there some sort of benefit potentially for Law Enforcement, intelligence services, if it is more out in the open. Grade point. I will pivot to what is going on in france, cause some radical changes in communications. One thing going back into the depths, a protocol that you need to be familiar with, tour stands for the onion router. Dagen to get into the dark. Exactly. They are looking at manning those encrypted communications. That is not social media, those of the deep undergrounds where you can get murder for hire, arms bazaar of cyber weaponry to hit u. S. Companies and the cat government so these are challenging things that france is looking similar to what china has done with their chinese fire wall, france would have to implement Something Like that to block those deep web and corrected indications. Cheryl in the u. S. As well . Dagen this dark area where can government access this point . Yes. There has been, they are living in those communities rest assured from counterintelligence perspective. They are very much developing other assets in communities developing assets to determine what is going on. I dont believe will be as significant as what france is doing, unilaterally blocking that. That would not fly from a privacy prospective but that is an interesting step that needs to be considered. In closing, europe is more progressive when it comes to cybersecurity legislation at this point in time. Their data privacy has always been a couple steps ahead as far as protection of citizen data and i think those will be movement lawmakers on the hill will be looking at to determine what can we do that doesnt disrupt our privacy but maybe move us the step in the right direction to protect this type of activity. Cheryl thanks so much. Appreciate your time today, j. D. It is the time of year when families and business everywhere stepping of Charitable Giving efforts, food and beverage maker newmans dont donates all its proceeds from its charities, giving away 415 million, ten years ago. Joining me is ceo and president Bob Forrester, he brought that as well. Businesses a year end contribute remarkable thing you give so much money to charity. Are there charities that are most important or priorities this money is going to . There is one in particular. These are camps paul newmans started with medical conditions. Around the world, 14 in the developing world, 75,000, but according to contributions maria the whole idea at he was giving way salad dressing is a christmas gift. And theres no way to do that. Give all the money away, 1982. Cheryl i know you guys loved these. Dagen i will hop this, and still it all over myself. That is not happening. In terms of the competitive nature of the food business where Natural Healthy products everyone has gone in that direction. Does the fact that you are a Charitable Organization helps you stand out . I think it does particularly because what we do is authentic, we live and exist, stockholders foundation, everything we do is charitable sector. Food is always natural. More organic. Does that help you attracted talent, these are great products, not just charity, the stuff tastes great to Dagen Mcdowell at point. It is a big motivator. We cant compete financially with the companies so we are motivated by our vision very much so we have good talent. Cheryl big business stepping up their efforts, Mark Zuckerberg pledging 99 of Facebook Stock to charitable causes of this is debate whether it is out and out charity, or actually a tax scheme but what is your take on what is going on in terms of love bill gates pledge which is so terrific . The bill gates pledge is terrific. There is a lot of interest right now. Charity hasnt changed since the first person, the next person for a gift, they give from their hearts i believe. When people get into it, they figure out better ways to do things but ultimately, if they do it well it has to come from the heart. Americans give away free 40 billion a year. Maria i have to ask about this whole chipotle story, costco reporting earnings this morning and there is the reaction there but we know what has gone on agile police still getting sick. In terms of preparation, given the thoughts we see salad dressing and part of the issue is less than the way it is prepared. We are not a restaurant, we are preparing food as being manufactured, this is all our product, our recipes manufactured by other companies under quality control, so everything that comes off the line is subject. Maria what is your reaction to what happened at chipotle . That is a hard one for me to say but we just have to be diligent about our food supply and howard gets to the consumer. I cannot comment on chipotles particular problem. Maria makes you feel good, proceeds going to help people so thank you. And it tastes good and there is that. Stay with us. Youre here to buy a car. Co. Has a market cap of 60 billion together if they would combine for 90 billion in sales. Bob are delhi spent so many years at ge, you know this industry so well. Is largely the collapse in commodities bringing these two together . Or activist investors . You have two titans. I have tremendous respect, both our dear friends, both of them stood tall. It has only been in the saddle a couple months back dupont but this is the brilliant consolidation. We talked earlier that the lack of gdp growth forcing corporations to domake acquisitions, stock buyback collapse, they are buying revenue, earnings during a lackluster year of low and slow growth. At the wall street journal, i think this is a very efficient tax consolidation. They both have specialty, some of those two together to spin back out again and be much more successful, much more innovative, more focused than they have been. Maria wired more focus innovative by getting together and splitting into pieces . Very tax efficient, they will bring the egg together, agriculture together, bring special chemicals together. It will be a smaller more focused business, they will spend those out. This has been what nelson peltzs plan, a go of file situation, to lose the proxy and detective lee but he won the war here. The more important question is having the experience at the helm. Look at stock like this, went from 72 to 47 in october. Does of the board react to that and say we dont agree with that but we will do Something Else any way . That was in 72. Might be a controversial statement but whack it happens today in boards is theyre losing a little bit of the spine. When you see this fluctuation, the ceo under the bus and retain their position, to take on the fight but boards, stock is up, they turn on them pretty quickly. People pull up a chart of that, 4572. Running the battle but in this end, nelson had it in there and boards need to stand tall and support the people they have been supporting, they approve the budget, the Strategic Vision and all of a sudden they flip, disappointing. Maria there seem to be so many negative implications, whether it is the chemical part of the business or oil, look at angloamerican, they will cut 85,000 jobs over the next couple years. This industrial side of the economy do you think is in recession . We have not said that for a long time. There are tremendous cloud on the horizon. Maria does that lead to out and out recession . You had a guest on earlier talking about currency and you would think with a strong dollar people would be buying a lot of opportunities, there was regulation, soft economy. Work rules and regulations, g e with their alternate view, what the government just did with staples. Jeff had to pull away so the amount of uncertainty, the urine integration and the red is pulled out. Dagen talk about the integration of these companies. How difficult will it be to put them together and separate them . Acquisition has to be a core competency. If it is there is a huge competitive advantage, if the acquisition in 18 months. We took from 0 to 8 billion, of the bose supply. They have to have an intensity on talent, commonality and suppliers and customers market focus customers centric. A lot of people think that is when the work really starts. Cheryl donald trump defended his plan to ban muslim immigration as polls show support for donald trump. Blake berman has that. Donald trump appears to further define his initial statement yesterday saying banning muslims from entering the u. S. Should be considered in the short term. He did not back down on the premise and told Barbara Walters he did not address the proposal. Somebody in this country has to say what is right. I have Great Respect and love, i have people i have tremendous relationships with that muslim. They agree with me 100 . It is shortterm. Let our country get its act together. Trumps comments were rebuked across the political spectrum. The White House Press secretary called them he disqualify. Even the House Speaker paul ryan tried to separate the Republican Party from trumps stance. This is not conservatism. Is not what this country stands for. What donald trump said yesterday disqualifies him from serving as president. Reporter we will see how it at all these comments might impact trump when polls are released in coming days. For now the continues to receive the strongest report in the republican primary. Heres the latest example. A call from New Hampshire shows no one is even close to the front runner. Trump has 32 support in the first in the nation primary and should things fall apart, should trump decide to run as an independent, a University Poll suggests two thirds of his supporters would back a thirdparty bid. Strong numbers all around for donald trump. Maria what happens in the general election . That is the big question. If you get presumably Hillary Clinton, somebody else on the republican side and donald trump the fear on the republican side is he takes two thirds of his supporters which at this point is in the 20 to 30 , a pretty big block. Maria voters who say they will stay with trump, giving the election to Hillary Clinton. We saw what happened with ross perot, it doesnt work. Maria what is your take on this . Talking to about banning muslims. The ceo of a company, would you start with that . Something like that . Leadership. I am not the most politically i would never have said that. There are ways, the concerns are legitimate. The methodology is probably a little over the top. He is the shock jocks that is out there today and getting a lot of attention. Maria are you surprised his support has gone up . I thought he would lose support after saying john mccain wasnt a war hero. One mans opinion, people are so concerned with safety and outraged at what was happening a kind of set that comment aside and focus on safety and security for their families, for themselves and the country. All the while is an absolute repudiation of both broken brands, republican and democrat parties. Dagen heres what he said about the internet earlier in the week speaking at south carolina, we need to look at possibly closing up parts of the internet and he will talk to bill gates about it. We see bill gates and a lot of people who understand what is happening and talk to them about certain areas closing the internet up in some way, talking about policeing it or terrorist activity. Kind of getting at a point but says it in a way. Behalf we are getting dumber when we are listening to stuff like that. When you talk a way he talks, i am pleased bigoted of anyone you ever met, of anyone . It is inflammatory, storytelling. It is a risk that people getting dumber as opposed to getting smarter. Maria we know how you feel about donald trump. Netflix plans to enter the stay with us. Maria iran working to find a faster way to get sanctions released. Cheryl casone with details. Maria this is a story you have been following closely. The u. S and iran, some of tehran and nuclear fuel stockpile to kazakhstan. Experts say the move could speed up sanctions released for iraq. The new Ballistic Missile tests in apparent violation of u. N. Security Council Resolution would cause fresh sanctions, hoping to follow for us here. The house overwhelmingly approving tightening the visa waiver program. That vote was named for 719. Program allows citizens of 38 countries to be in our country for three months without a visa. This legislation requires visas for anyone who has been in iraq or syria in the previous five years to change the dynamic. Breaking news this morning, Fox Business Network is going to host its second republican president ial primary debate on thursday january 14th, the debate will be held in north charleston, south carolina, taking place two days after the president s final state of the union address. First debate in november 13 million viewers. We smashed ratings records for this network, so glad we announced this because we will get real answers. Im sick of seen candidates sniped at each other. I got such out reach in the biggest of the big, thank you for sticking to the issues. Be allowed there today are desperate for a conversation about the issues of the day. You and your team did it, congratulations on this one. You will be loaded following the state of the union address. Everybody wants to talk about leadership. We have a saying in athletics, expects to earn, it is not allocated. People who allocated debates have blown up these debate so you learned that respect. Dagen five minute, too subdued. Dagen i will do what i did yesterday. That is what i did. Cheryl that debate enables americans to see who the Fox Business Network is. Ratings have been going up ever since, the program is really distributed widely and we are seeing a reaction. Dagen the level of substance in the first debate was unbelievable. I read the entire transcript of the debate after word and give you the back to let you you get a sense of where these candidates are. Maria you could differentiate where they want to see movement in terms of jobs. You ask a great following questions versus lenexa question. You got more granular. It was great. Maria netflix scoring big on rumors of its own sports network. We have details back in a moment. The wolf was huffing and puffing. Like you do sometimes, grandpa . Well, when you have copd, it can be hard to breathe. It can be hard to get air out, which can make it hard to get air in. So i talked to my doctor. She said. Symbicort could help you breathe better, starting within 5 minutes. Symbicort doesnt replace a rescue inhaler for sudden symptoms. Symbicort helps provide significant improvement of your lung function. Symbicort is for copd, including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It should not be taken more than twice a day. Symbicort contains formoterol. Medicines like formoterol increase the risk of death from asthma problems. Symbicort may increase your risk of lung infections, osteoporosis, and some eye problems. You should tell your doctor if you have a heart condition or high Blood Pressure before taking it. Symbicort could mean a day with better breathing. Watch out, piggies children giggle symbicort. Breathe better starting within 5 minutes. Call or go online to learn more about a free trial offer. If you cant afford your medication, astrazeneca may be able to help. Its gotten squarer. Over the years. Brighter. Bigger. Its gotten thinner. Even curvier. But whats next . For all binge watchers. Movie geeks. Sports freaks. X1 from xfinity will change the way you experience tv. Maria busy night in sports but this involved netflix. Net flicks, and jared mack has the details. Times changing, is it possible we might watch the Golden State Warriors extend their winning streak on netflix . It wont happen this nba season but the landscape could be changing and how we consume sports programming. Netflixs boss indicated one day netflix could broadcast live sports but only if it produced and owned the programming much like the x games which disney developed and owns the rights to and televises on its own sports network, espn. It is the wave of the future in sports tv, will sports leagues by in, here we are in degeneration, the mixed tape generation, when we breathe under we put together audio cassettes with our favorite songs and trade them but this is a big deal. It with our own personal greatest hits. I wonder if this is coming into sports where we have i want this team, this team. Maria netflix is questioned, not a friend or foe . Broadcasters want to sell their product to netflix but at the same time is netflix going to come up with his own original programming and go head to 5 against the broadcasters . Netflix is on a roll, almost down and out. They are devouring content, competing, coproducing to have their own original content. I think they will be a Formidable Force in this industry. Maria netflix acquired your sons film circle. In a lead role. Look at the threat but the middle, that is what is effectively, espn ratings are on the down flow, netflix long ago. Fox sports, the thought is create some form of legal or programming. Nobody knew it. Programming gets created and making it a little more difficult to trade passwords. Dagen i wouldnt want to run netflix because youre competing against jeff bezos and amazon comment and apple potentially. Those are two huge the point here is people dont want to pay for the whole package but want a cafeteria where they can select made the i would love maria broadcasters i am just saying. Consulate in benghazi was unfolding a highly ranked pentagon official messaged clinton Top State Department deputies to offer military help former Clinton Campaign senior restaurants mark penn thanks for joining us details in terms of this military man, getting this information willing to help no help sent. I dont think distant new information i think this has been warmed over and over, i think people hold the terrorists responsible foring benghazi i think they understand that Hillary Clinton was a secretary of state last thing wanted xhernz comorz killed by terrorists in libya. Do you think she was up front about what went on her response to it. Public made a decision benghazi, she did the best she could on this thing i think they moved on i dont understand why rep Party Continues to pour time and efforts into this. You kind of isnt answer marias question she candidate if you thought is he she was up front. I think has been up front testified 11 hours answered all the questions on this, i think the republicans barking upping one tree on think high Hillary Clinton like every account has vulnerabilities this is not one. What would those vulnerabilities be. Her personal image, is at stage overall i think going to have to supply a strong vision where they wants to take country next part of the election first part she had to convince dominate in primary i think she is doing that second part now i think she has to get out of the way of donald trump i think she is doing that. And then third part going to have to establish vision for the country. Lemon talk about that vision i know the clinton is expected to offer details today. On her proposal to slap an exit tax on companies that try to move their about headquarters abroad to lower tax bills this move would tax foreigner earnings at the time of the detail we have seen increasing number of Companies Mark move out of the kin because of this inability to have some tax reform that army of separate plis asking for do that is the answer. Maria you hit it is it real brass ring is tax reform, and making a deal on tax reform and infrastructure. And for some reason that has gotten stuck in this administration, congress i think the exit taxes i think are proposal that i suspect Hillary Clinton president would really see the big deal move through what everybody is looking for. Bob nardelli you have run a lot of companies if you can being pay tax rates of 30 , or 4 if you move hausheadquarts to ireland. Ceos dont want to move offshore but they have fiduciary duty, i whereas tremendous you saunldz a lower tax rate. Lower tax rate, i think the issue here is not to not to put a bandaid on it to your point mark lets fix it we have talked about it, and i dont understands why this administrations about the getting it i hope hillary would present a tax plan versus a bandage. Maria we havent seen it. I think it got stuck i think a lot of people on Congress Worked on it. Maria i mean hillarys plans wants to double Capital Gains taxes what is her tax plan. I think you are seeing pieces in the primary i think one of the things that she has to do, is make sure that she is not seen too close to wall street i this i the plan putting out put down mark , business is going do have to get behind tax reform because, ceos dont want an exit tax i think will take tax reform. Does that increase Capital Gains was not an increase she complicated it rather than similar flying it creating stairstep structure for holding, you only get longterm rate, is like two years two years two years until 6 years old. I think the theory is too much short term speculation, in the economy that is not as productive as long Term Investments maybe tax system to mirror that i think she raises a good point there. Arent there conflicts of interest. Has private equity money if you sit behind some plans they are clever but do dagens point dont simplify things. Well sum flying getting things right two separate what she is sayings weve got problems in the system you too much short term investing we have companies modifying overseas for lower tax rates, despite the huge advantages actuating in america better fix proxy agree brass resigning full tax reform a deal i i think held up that go by job one for the next the president. Maria who do you think on republican side can braet lirl. I think we dont know who can beat hillary at this point i dont thing trump can beat hillary every day proves more desperate mushz to win the primary modifies him further and further from winning the generally collection. If you could have one thing for christmas would it be donald trump to compete with. Donald trump would be next Barry Goldwater for the Republican Party. You want that dems want donald trump against hillary. I think nobody would gigpling very obvious. Good to be here. Thank you for joining us i know you founded this private equity firm your Specialist Health care and technology i want to get to that in a moment what are implications of this firm dropping obamacare. Well i think it is the evidence what weve side all along that it doesnt work, the exchanges a bad idea from the beginning forced on to marketplace forced to peoples lives being rejected not working numbers dont work the biggest u. S. Insurer wants to pull out tells you doesnt work. Maria you know you talk to small businesses, and they continue to say we cant afford it, that if i am going to have to you know forced to offer Health Insurance to all employees if i have more than 15 or pay a fine i will pay the fine. That is right. They hire people antigrowth it is important to give credible he worked with governor jeb bush on this was assigned to george w. Bush to help on medicare and medicaid has have a long storied history understands the policies, and implications of this right. What would work . Thank you for saying is that you are right. I think the you see this governor bush Health Care Policy is that what works is a local driven health care solution, health care is local it is local that is local families local let the states let communities there are communities across the country that have taxed themselves to finance Community Based care, communities want to do that can do that, you dont need federalizing to do that. Unbelievable. Let me get to some things that you are doing, because you have been investing in a number of Health Care Related dependency coming up with solutions, to actually make care more affordable. Tell us the focus. That is what we do we use understanding of the u. S. Healthcare economy to find solutions that deliver superior value, to consumers, have to patients providers and, therefore, deliver superior results for investors, so, some examples. The General Accounting Office estimated going to take 39 trillion dollars, trillion dollars to carry for the baby boom generation through end of life we cant afford that investing in health sense using smart technology, wireless senseors Big Data Analytics in the living space of the senior to monitor activities of daily living. Make sure they are taking medicine on time make sure, that they are sleeping, that eating, wondering around early onset sign of dementia because we get early indication with an intervene much more early, and save dollars improve care at the same time. One megatrend we looked at you and i talked about it a long time is aging in place i want to make sure you take care of me dont throw me outbilliondollar right but, again, i think this is a conversion of the need and technology, right . And so i think it is very, very important, what you are doing to be able are to monitor these services in comfort security of home rather than placed in some some you know, remote area. For the children, many children live a far piece as you say away from aging elder they want to know summon is looking after mom and dad grandma working with them in a very specific patient centered with integrity. I know you invested in health spa a great story foundeders on program what i love about this story says there massive consumerism going on, people are taking accountability for their own health care. Without question. One example of technology being put to use 560 billion dollars a year is wasted people dont stay son medications think about that, 60 of americans are off medications, within first two years. Who is going to say i am not going to take it . Old model give you rebate create financial incentive it doesnt work, they dont want to take them we are investing in a Company Health pride using consumer behavioral communicate Psychology Services in rewarding to make people want to stay healthy take administration and save money, get paid based outcomed going to bet reimbursed based on Clinical Results you cant get them if you are not taking the medications. This is at the emerging technology no disrespect to apps created out there i am personally interested in this moves the needle takes car is of society. Maria you invested in independent livingisms another one. Yes. Maria as we end here if we do see them drop or care universal health that is end of obamacare what do you think. No obamacare is a big omnibus, there are parts of obamacare that i am sure will survive the drive toward oubt value based payment will survive i think some innovation around wellness prevention will survive megd expansion will happen not statebystate managers hitched car to exchange if that were to go away then will be hurt. A big issue, big deeg for obamacare, good to see. You thank you, thank you for joining us, we are going to take a short break congress putting a squeeze on social media giants to help fight the war on terrorism we explain next, back in a moment. Now watching what social Media Companies are saying, the reactions in Silicon Valley relatively tepid facebook saying we share the government goal of keeping terrorists off our site facebook a has zero tolerance, for terrorists propaganda praising of trevor activity we work aggressively to move it as soon as we become aware of it the issue is that a lot of these social media organizations, and companies believe their already doing enough, capitol hill lawmakers here believe more can be done so we are going going to introduce an conclusive with republican of texas bringing that demand for information to the white house here to committee today, maria. Ashcroft thanks so much for about joining us. A pleasure to be with you. Maria good morning. Maria you are worded about Metadata Program ending the ability for you Law Enforcement to actually track terrorists. Well, youve got to go able to follow the dots knowing the contact points that individual involved in, trying to destroy our country, knowing who they have been talking to, the Metadata Program is not a program for content but abandoning that tool in the tool box in war against terror i believe is a mistake, and we cant begin to deny the existence of threat of terror taking tools out of the box one at time we need the full range of tools that is why it is important when this is an active terror that we characterize it is a terrorism, if you delay in making it a terror investigation you forfeit some tools only available legally when the investigation an investigation of terror. Maria yeah how do you explain basically, us missing these two terrorists in the first place . I mean malik the wife apparently we know from Law Enforcement was operative in 2014 on this fiancee visa, you know she has been posting things he has been posting things on facebook, this rhetoric that you know islam will run the world israel needs to get off tr earth how did we in any case when the Metadata Program was in place. I think the program that we had shortly after 9 11 was provided for intense screen the registration of individuals from terrorist supportsed countries has been relaxed frankly, the terrorist community is intergeneral recreational dont quit after a week or year ordecade they think whatever we dont do our grandchildren will do. Too often in america we think everything is solved in the hour, and if we want to call it over, we want to relax we are going do have to avoid relaxation here we are going do have to pursue with intense those individuals who seek to destroy us. Maria i think it is interesting look at this couple, farook and malik, because he was apparently associated with alqaida. She was pledging her allegiance to isis. And youve noted differences in this two groups, didnt isis come out of alqaida . When u. S. Pulled out of iraq isis got stronger now isis even though it came out of alqaida basically agained more prominence than mother ship than alqaida. Well, isis is a philosophy that wants to reinstitute a governance structure 7th or 8th century more than 1,000 years old. And they believe that any muslim that is moderate or even recognizes the existence of of civil government rather than theocratic government, is an apostate that is reason isis has been attacking moderate muslims tens of thousands moderate muslims have been killed we should understand our job is to maximize our defense. And minimize our enemy if we tried to alienate all muslims that is sill think are under attack from isis should ins we should promote an understanding we should Work Together, against a group that considers them a threat and that we know when i say them, muslims, a target, of the isis movement that was not the same that is not an identical position with the position of alqaida. Yeah. Our understanding of this new threat is is important to our not minimizing our friends but maximizing our friends enlisting them, minimizing our enemies isolatings isis. I am glad you brought up moderate muslims there are many people that have joined us that are friends, that you would expect to have heard from do you find it surprising that were not hearing from the leadership of the Muslim Community i am talking about, moderate muslims . Are you surprised we are not hearing them come out and did he denounce i didnt see where are they. There are some far too few i am not only surprised i am shocked regret it deeply. Maria me too. As they understand and as thousands and thousands of more moderate muslims are being attacked and killed by isis which is seeking, to destroy governments around the world because they are secular governments or not totally theocratic, you know, those who believe in making agreements, even making a treaty with a known country is an offense for itself they believe that makes you apostate you are eligible for decapitation eligible to be victim of terror we need to understand i will hope american muslims muslims have a level of deregulatimoderation join with us we need to promote making our defense as large as possible and making our enemy as small as possible about. Maria quick on money angle here is there anything that we should glean from fact farook took out a lone money from online lender what is your take on that whether or not there was some way for Law Enforcement to have gotten ahead of that . Well, i dont really know the all the details sts situation, but i do know this, that it is part of a trade craft, of these individuals who are going to with extinguish themselves in assault against freedom assault against america assault against the people. People of Human Dignity around the world they build up debts knowing that when they extinguish themselves they wont have to pay it back, lenders ought to have a real selfinterest in not providing loans to people who have that pro kliffity. Two biggest names merger union of two chemical giants combine Oldest Companies together worth 120 billion wroj reporting a merger between dupont could be coming days followed by breakup of combined companies obviously this is big news, for wall street. Here is thing with dupont, though the merger would you know clear antitrust regulatory can it get past regulators. Keith mccullough has been on since you started broadcasting wahs year and one half ago amazing we got a breaking news freeport suspending dividend, this is serious consequences these two Companies Getting together, freeport cutting dividend, wow. Thanks for that not making calls not easy deflation in general i think very hard to you think think of freeport they just 8billiondollar company a lot of people own it for dividend carl icahn filed on freeport the stock cut in half again people have a a sin certify i guess not appreciation of deflation, you would have never bought Freeport Mac Moran if you understands mack pro like you dont do macromacrowill do you this is effectively the divide at this point between bottom up stock pooishgz and people missing deflation and globally growth both at the same time demand falling prices falling most understand starting to find into more portfolios particularly people daying ann you talked about this chasing yield or has a dividend yield on it dont understand that equity also is underpinned by debt have a tremendous amount of leverage. I twoobt ask about a deflation you dont see deflation in wages coming critical thing overall deflation in economy, you do still see at least wage support, some growth, major growth in industries, so do you worry about that tie into those you could be concerned about Federal Reserve raising Interest Rates. Not to go totally wonky on this but you already did. Go ahead. The end of economic about cycle so things economic cycles when you are at top of the cycle what you end up getting is wage growth wage pressure. This one in particular, the end you have two things, you had cycle page pressure metals mining, oil and gas truckerers people in state of texas bar tenders servicing that economy had a lot of wage growth what happens to their wage growth basically, you know, it happens solely at once get fired, that is the component of wage growth is going to come down, the same point congressionally planned raise minute wage next to useless is basically, the last thing a government can do, so, i think wage growth was tend look at huge stocks to watch dow chemical dupont do you think would sell thousands of job cuts that is what i want to know. You look at if you look at history of m a transactions typically wall street has not paid aer said you are making a dumb deal because you that had to do it. Merger of quells. Most aggressive thing blow people out fast fire fast what nardelli the gst. I want to bring in Monica Crowley because all of this points to monica fact this economy is not all that great, and we continue to see job cuts unemployment situation, that should be a lot better than where it is right now, even though we have been seeing job gains. A conversation weve been having since president obama entered office certainly Great Recession started before he entered office, but this has been a obama economy the new normal high unemployment a lot of people out of the labor force lot of people stopped looking for work, stagnant wages, this is the the economy now all candidates are running, and so it behooves republican candidates very positive grow growth plans it behooves them to talk to enterprise middle class but everybody in this obama economy. Creates no room for error situation where we have a slow economy in the u. S. No room for error and then youve got china, so china slows down that crushes commodities, as you predicted now all these dividend cuts mergers. One many, many bubbles again when you are promising people this is what obama and to degree bush should be responsible for when creating illusion of growth inflation, you are not creating real growth again to get real growth you have to subtract prices people pay for things, all these things that are blowing up, based on Federal Reserve creating zero percent money create a hijack commodity bubble that is coming unglued that was a cycle illusion again obama wouldnt know what that means, clearly, you need a president who understands cycles happen growth not sustainable, and you he need to have real growth in this economy. I give it to you our viewers, got that information from you, a long time ago before anybody else youve been saying it a long time fed is not going to raise rates absolutely right thank you gave viewers a leg up we have a second president ial debate at Fox Business Network we are happy to tell you republican candidacy face off thursday, january 14, 2016 join us for that debate, in the next month and half former real estating Economic Advisors art laffer to talk about issues being overlooked by our candidates. Maria welcome back big news Fox Business Network has been award a second republican president ial primary debate all happening thursday, january 14, next guest says candidates are still missing key issues, when it comes to fixing the u. S. Economy talk about that right now with former Economic Advisor to president reagan joining us good to see you. Congratulations, by the way, that was wonderful news. Thank you know what amazing after first debate amount of outreach i got telling guys earlier from big business, business was emailing calling saying thanks for sticking to issue people are desperate to have a smart conversation about the issues that matter. You already did that that is exactly what that debate was, and was so clear thanked was no gotcha things any of that, it was really about the candidates and their issues, not about the come at a timeors about questions about station it was about the candidates and their issues you did a great job. Thanks we are happy to have next debate what are candidates missing right now what do we need to address, in terms of being important to the growth of the economy . Well lots of things, one thing is the niner cities real problems in the cities as weall know by police conks all that reason we have that problem is because of lack of economic growth, and especially, in cities enterprise zones natural for the candidates to say look what i have got lower tax rate enterprise zones jack kemp model i this i would be spectacular, if some candidates would demograpaddrese issues huge amounts of reserves on assets on federal government could reduce National Debt dramatically the capital i point to is Camp Pendleton if you look at Camp Pendleton 500,000 dollars an acre 60 billion dollars right there one piece of property in, southern california. You are sig sell government owned property. Also the gold reserve non has seen it 30 years why holding that . Oil reserves get them out of the business, and really reduce that National Debt youve got so many things to do, and am necessity attack am necessary thee a new tax plan, tax am Necessity Program could bresh are bringing in 250, 350 billion dollars. We cant get tax reform on docket. That is true you cant wul get it on the docket, believe me, these are things that should be done, i mean tort reform do you know how much money can be saved in this economy with tort reform kris cox is master of tort reform programs we could do with tort reform amazing, they see are issues that no one is discussing no one is bringing forth it just it is saddens me these are big issues as well as tax reform. They are is Monica Crowley. Loved your comment perfect, it is the obama recession it is not changed for 8 years. Economy right so we need pro growth pro growth pro growth. Exactly. Two policies i liked youve been talking about a tax holiday versus tax am necessity, also administrate pay for politicians, that is an idea time is long since passed. I know guys spending other peoples money not he will accountable you never ply a business officers directors have no skin in the game, they didnt own stocks options why have a government that does that it is stupid someone should take merit pay for politicians. Run with it i mean that is what we should have done in 2008, instead of spending all silly money 3. 75 trillion dollars on all cash just a year and a half tax holiday no federal taxes no income tax no medicaid medicaid k a year and 1 2 can you imagine what would have happened in 2009 if we had done that, instead of stupidest thing. U. S. Economy has issues because of all things you are talking about Regulatory Burden that comes with the president , but then i mentioned to keith earlier that put us into a position no roll for error, Global Economy starts slowing down china starts slowing down then as keith you correctly predicted commodities collapsed could it all vulnerabilities this is the real question on my mind right now certainly one that bond market dismissed sought squint the junk bond market made a lower low yesterday, but what is the deflationary sprierl will obamaclinton everybody else didnt understand it be held accountable for that. Probably wont be hemmed accountable for that specifically, but i mean here is where the fed i think should be he will accountable, but they would be the be i think obama and hillary will not win election their forces will lose i think we take over in 2017. And then i think you are going to see pro growth agenda we are talking about here, then i hope keith that you are wrong after that, not wrong but change your perspective because once you start getting economic growth, once the real return on capital starts rigs the real rate of interest all right the inflation adjusted rate will increase dramatically resting real rate of return on unit of capital without for a listening time you monica maria all dagen all of you have been saying a long time we are really missing the real return on exam, that is the problem. Once that hits, then you are going to start getting this engine growing like you have never seen wonderful. You say hillary wont win but she keeps leading in the polls art. Well there is only one poll that matters maria i remember with real president we werent leading in polls until 3 weeks out four weeks out then we cleaned house. And then when it came to 84 i think we lost one state minnesota . It was pretty sad. But you know, trump is really creating a huge amount will have excitement, new why this stuff going on he reminds me very much of prop 13 in california this is you know all of of these discussions i think are very healthy for the Party Healthy for the country. And i dont know why is to many people are bouncing on him so hard, but the discussion is great. Maria you think the discussion is a healthy one to have, and. Everyone, everyone of the things he says everyone thinking about it why dont weigh take i dont know the right enhance to be honest but i do know issues raising not silly, and he should be taken very seriously, not saying, he is not worthy of being a president those types of comments just dont have any place. Maria plarl when so many leaders in you Law Enforcement are saying, yeah the terrorists have infiltrated, the refugee flow so much to talk about art. One can i give one example, magic you have a bowl full of mand ms 1,000 five look poison would you eat out of that bowl . That is what the issue how do you control for that oneoff problem that occurred. A fair norovirus thank you. Art good analogy we love you art we will see you soon, sir. Thank you. Thank you. Oil prices hovering near a sevenyear low. The energy etfs are feeling the pain from the fall in crude oil. The Energy Sector etf down 20 year to date. Joining me now is mark we hadman. Bes iatof sr irm money moving in the energy space . Its pretty clear, china is down, energy down, supply up. Money is moving out of the energy world and the best place to track it is in etfs. Maria where is it going . Its going in two big places, all year and frankly next year as well. Its moving into european, japanese, and Broader Market equities and nongovernment bonds. So its moving into credit in particular. Both in europe and the u. S. The reason, people want to get away from low yields and high yields. Maria i feel like weve been talking about the europe story for a while. A lot of money moving into europe for some time. Any worry that this is becoming a crowded trade . Its been over 23 years since somebody bet against the central bank and won. I would not bet mario draghi and our view, if you bet with the European Central bank which is committed to inflating the european economy, youre probably going to have rising equities and probably win. Maria Central Banks, keith . I like to say to people if you buy the japanese etf, you have to understand what youre buying into because the economy sucks. Thats an interesting thing to pitch to people. The economy sucks so japan is going to keep devaluing and to your point, if you devalue your currency, the thing in the currency, assets, prices go up. Im not sure well see the euro and yen move, but what were going to see is inflation in equity prices in europe and japan and thats the most reliable output of a stimulus, including negative rates, people borrow and buy equity and thats what the etf one of the business looking ishares charts is Municipal Bonds domestically. People have said to themselves, you know, this equity story is five years in. Im going to put my money instead of underneath the mattress, nub is the ticker on that. Maria you said that bonds are an attractive place. When i say equities, i didnt say u. S. Equities. U. S. Equities are basically flat for the year. Maria yeah. And were not particularly bullish on next year because already theyve been priced up. Its the japanese and european equities that Central Banks have been popping up and were looking into. Bonds, absolutely. So bond etfs, whether they be credit or. Dagen i was going to talk about the credit risk that people are taking, you chasing yields somewhere else, i mean, what kind of credit risk are they betting on on bond etfs. Great question. Its a question of the price. The spread of price in the u. S. , high yield. High yield is 600 basis points, 6 higher than treasuries, thats a reasonable longterm number. Its not actually overbought. So now is not a bad time to look at high yield, to look at shorter duration, lower risk credit and csj, threeyear longterm credit. The real concern about longterm Interest Rates and longterm investment rates. The question, we dont know how thats going to react when the fed raises rates. Maria let me ask you about the fed raising rates in the next week or two weeks. One of the biggest stories in Asset Management is the fiduciary rule coming out of the department of labor. Explain it and what does it mean for the business . The question that the department of labor is exploring is whether to impose whats called a fiduciary standard on Financial Advisors. What that would mean is basically when youre talking about to Financial Advisor, he or she would have to meet the same standard that a lawyer would have to meet with you. Today they meet with what is called a suitability standard, the products have to be suitable. If the department of labor moves forward, they will shift the way that advisors get paid. Basically what will happen, people will stop paying through commissions and through what are called retro sessions, payments made by financial managers to the payment advisors and it will be straight from the client to the Financial Advisor and we see that happening around the world, the growth of feebased advice. As that happens, theres one iron law, which is that the advisors shift what they buy. They shift towards cheap efficient products like etf and seles in the sell less in the way of expensive products. We think that the shift, more likely than shot going to happen globally than the u. S. Is going to accelerate the etfs because theyre efficient ways to grow portfolios. Maria and are you surprised that the market is not concerned about the geopolitical risk . Why does it not have impact. Right now prices are focused on the central bank and macro economy. With a kid with add, theyre not focused on geopolitical risk and urn certainty. Maria thank you for joining us, join us on mornings with maria, every day. A number of guests you may have missed from the program. The one thing i was going to say with the Victoria Secret fashion show, thats actually where i met donald trump for the first time. [laughter] i met him and milana, years ago. Hes everywhere. Maria and like liz, okay. Were you be long hotcakes or Kinder Morgan at the end of the day. Maria ill take the hotcakes. There are ways and concerns the legitimate. I think the methodology is probably over the top. But hes the shockjock thats out there today. Shockjock . Thats getting a lot of attention. Dagen five minutes too subdued. Maria check this out, two standout stars. Dagen i can name them. Thats gigi hadied and kendall jenner. And keeping it on the basis of the isis threat. Thats coming up. When a moment turns romantic why pause to take a pill . Or stop to find a bathroom . Cialis for daily use is approved to treat both erectile dysfunction and the urinary symptoms of bph, like needing to go frequently, day or night. Tell your doctor about all your medical conditions and medicines, and ask if your heart is healthy enough for sex. Do not take cialis if you take nitrates for chest pain, as it may cause an unsafe drop in Blood Pressure. Do not drink alcohol in excess. Side effects may include headache, upset stomach, delayed backache or muscle ache. To avoid longterm injury, get medical help right away for an erection lasting more than four hours. If you have any sudden decrease or loss in hearing or vision, or any symptoms of an allergic reaction, stop taking cialis and get medical help right away. Ask your doctor about cialis and a 200 savings card. Welcome back. Were 45 minutes away from the opening bell for a wednesday. The new bill will require social Media Companies to report any terrorist activity on the site. In a fox business exclusive, jo ling kent with us in washington. Jo, take it away. Jo good morning, maria. You know, a lot of terrorists have been using social media to pr propagandize. And were talking with ted poe about the bill you have in committee today to combat the terrorists, the social media act of 2015. What you want is a strategy from the white house and president obama. Why . In 2011 the president promised he would come up with a strategy dealing with terrorists and social media. He has come up with no strategy. The bill requires a strategy where we work with the private social Media Companies to bring out the terrorist sites. They use social media sites to recruit, but also to raise money and also to spread their propaganda. And the plan really is use the same protocol that social Media Companies use to bring down child porn sites to bring down sites that are Foreign Terrorist Organization inspired. Jo youve talked to facebook and twitter and who do you think is the worse. Twitt eter by far is the wor, 40,000 terrorist site handles on twitter. Facebook and youtube have done a pretty good job of bringing them down. We want the social media to bring them down including twitter. You dont give a terrorist organization a constitutional right to use twitter to the reason theyre not able to get around this, thats their main reasoning, you dont agree with that. I dont agree and neither does the Supreme Court. This was litigated years ago. The Supreme Court says the Terror Organization doesnt have the free speech, Constitutional Rights as american citizens do. So bring down these sites. We dont allow, in the name of free speech, child porn sites to be used in social media, social Media Companies bring those down. Use the same protocol to bring down the social media sites being used. Now were training, where isis is having individuals who want to learn about isis to go online and learn how to use the social media sites to do the things that we talked about. Jo a snap chat at these companies tell me theyre doing their best to bring down all this have content and to get rid of it. They say theyre aggressively pursuing it. If they say that and you want them to do more, what is your idea for them to actually implement a more effective strategy then . Thats one reason why this legislation thats come up for a vote in our Foreign Affairs committee today. Lets have a strategy with them working with the social media sites to be successful to stop them from using social media to recru recruit. Maria let me ask you, congressman, poe, really missing what was out there already. I mean, we know that miss malik when she entered the country back in 2014 she was already an operative. She was already on the social media sites. We know that farook was basically pledging, you know, lots of horrible hate messages saying that, you know, islam will rule the world and israel should be wiped off the map. How did all of that stuff go unmissed how did it go missed . Well, i dont know that it did or did not go unmissed. Maria we didnt know they were terrorists, right . And then they came and they killed 14 people in San Bernardino. Well, the social media sites that are being used by Foreign Terrorist Organizations, we have to have a system through social media who can do this to bring down those sites once they appear on social media sites and they can have a protocol to do that. They already have a protocol to bring down child porn sites. Use the same protocol to bring down sites used by terrorist organizations. Maria i totally understand and i agree. Im trying to understand if we actually have the resources to pull this off, once in fact we do have the agreement from these social media sites because knowing that we had, you know, these people out there and they were, you know, talking this hatred and they were missed. And you know, we werent following their trail. How come they werent on anybodys list . I cannot answer that question and hopefully we pass this legislation, well be able to track them better and social media sites and our government will Work Together to bring down these communications before another crime is committed. Maria well, well be watching the bill and voting. Thanks, congressman, we know how important this is. Congressman poe and jo ling kent. Well be right back. Youre here to buy a car. What would help is simply being able to recognize a fair price. Thats never really been possible. But along comes a radically new way to buy a car, called truecar. Now it is. Truecar has pricing data on every make and model, so all you have to do is search for the car you want, there it is. Now youre an expert in less than a minute. This is how car buying was always meant to be. This is truecar. Welcome back. We want to give you the edge on Monica Crowleys column, kind of tomorrow, isis and the war with women. Thats your column. In the Washington Times coming out tomorrow. Yeah, i argue forget about the war on women. This is the war with women. Isis has been very effective in recruiting, especially western women across western europe and now effective in the United States in recruiting women to join their ranks and they use women for a number of different things. They use women as incubators for the next generation of terrorists as social media queens and use them for sharia enforcement and now we know that theyre actually using them for suicide and other attacks. Maria unbelievable. Well read that tomorrow. Quick on the stocks to watch. Dow and dupont talks. And costco, we didnt get to today. The consumption market. One of the best, sales up 1 , earnings down 12. Maria lululemon also on the move. Yeah, down a lot. Down 11 and those more of a broken situation. I think that costco is a big one in terms of the bellwether. And another debate, yay. Maria another debate. See you tomorrow. Varney Company Begins now. Stuart maria, thank you so much. Its shortterm, until our country gets its act together, thats donald trump defining and clarifying his muslim ban. Good morning, everyone. The donald is still hogging the headlines, interviewed by Barbara Walters, he says hes the least bigoted guy around. You check the establishment media today, they really, really hate him. Hillary clinton says this, the whole g. O. P. Is just like trump. Even though most leading republicans, except ted cruz, have repudiated him. Weve got a new revelation in the california terror outrage. Syed farook had planned anotr
