first two nights and last two west coast game are late for the entire is season with bergesen iting. an earned run average in the 3s. it's tough for the orioles to win on the road no matter where they >> none this early. not the greatest round from tiger but what we've seen for him. this isn't a guy that's going to win on sunday not much, but does exactly what it means to win tournaments. what else can you say about the guy? death was a homicide but authorities stopped short of saying it was a murder/suicide committed by the 20-year-old girl found dead by his side. bob holtzman, who has been follow hg story since news of steve mcnair's death yesterday joins us from nashville, tennessee. bob, what did nashville police reveal today? >> reporter: well, michelle, after the autopsy done this morning, we learned a lot more about what happened in the early hours of yesterday morning. but there are still a number of unanswered questions. now, police still say they are not actively searching for any suspects, yet as you mention, they stopped short still of calling this a murder/suicide. although all indications at this point seem to point in that direction. there were no signs of forced entry. the person who discovered the bodies actually had to use a key to get in. to get in. go, we have a lot of persons we need to interview, persons who knew miss kazimi, persons who knew steve mcnair. we will follow those leads as they progress. again, it is clear that mcnair's death is a homicide. miss kazimi's death is not going to be classified until we can talk to the right people, make a final determination based on everything that's available to us. >> reporter: now, police also revealed this afternoon that mcnair and the 20-year-old woman victim had been dating for the past several months. and in fact, police say they already have been talking to friends of both victims, trying to figure out if there was anything going on between them, whether they were squabbling or arguing about something that may have led to this. in fact, police say that is a very important part of this investigation. another clue that certainly points toward the fact that there was probably nobody el involved in this, outside of the two who are dead. >> you've been in nashville since last night. you were at that time titans facility. give us a sense of the reaction in the community there. >> reporter: it's still even more than 24 hours later, it's still shock. we talked about this before on the air over the past day, day and a half, they are not so shocked over what happened. they are shocked because of how it happened. i mean, steve mcnair had a terrific reputation on the field and had a very clean reputation off the field. he had had a couple run ins with the law which had been expunge ds from his record. he had been married for 12 years. he had four sons. by all accounts he had a very stable personal life. stable personal life. dead, it was very shocking. but now details continue to come out about this 20-year-old girl, 20-year-old young woman, and the fact that they were found dead together. and now the fact police said they had been dating for a number of months. obviously, this is not what people expected to hear about steve mcnair's personal life. >> bob holtzman with all the latest on what we now know is the homicide of steve mcnair. bob, we appreciate it. thank you. >> reporter: thank you. >> titans head coach jeff fisher was on his way back from the inaugural nfl uso tour in the persian gulf when he lernds of mcnair's death. an emotional fisher had this to say -- it was eddie george who delivered the news to fisher late last night he addressed the media on the death of his friend and teammate. >> it's difficult. steve and i, we weren't like best friends that talked every day, but we certainly were good friends. our families, we know each other. our sons know each other. they kind of grew up together the time i was here playing. and to learn of his death is -- it's unbelievable. it just, i guess i accept it. my heart just sinks deeper and deeper into accepting the reality behind this. something you don't want to believe. comes the reality that it's real. and you think about -- i think about all of the times that i have been around steve, over the eight years that i played on the field, off the field. our super bowl run. the days when he wasn't having a great year and he was being scrutinized in the media, to being the co-mvp and -- it was just a bond that we had because we -- all we had was us coming there. we didn't know what to expect. we certainly wanted to accept a lot of it. and, you know, he was the heart and soul of this team. he was the tough, tough guy. he took all hits. he played with pain. went out there limping, one arm, still threw for 400 yards. and we fed off of that energy. >> funeral arraignments for mcnair are not expected to be finalized until monday afternoon at the earliest. steve mcnair, gone at age 36. game
