people find themselves in, joey, what can these people be defending? what could they face in terms of criminal action? >> this is real, ashleigh. and it's real because you can talk about the supreme court and here we're seeing them come to life and here's how. there are specific statutes on the books, ashleigh, that address threats when people say things and they say them with not so good intentions. and so there's one type of threat, which is aggravated harassment, which is punishable under new york state penal law and it's a criminal threat so could face up to one year in jail. the threat has to be made in a context to the nypd but there's a broader statute than that and that's a d felony. felonies are punishable by more than a year in jail. in fact, up to four years.
