MYSURU: As Mysuru prepares to usher in the New Year, the city traffic police have made elaborate arrangements for smooth flow and regulation of traffic across the city.
As part of the traffic regulations, there will be changes in routes, vehicular parking norms and restrictions on movement from 10pm on December 31 to 5am on January 1.
Invoking the Indian Motor Vehicle Act 1988 and the Motor Traffic Act 1989, police have called for ban of all vehicles on BN Road (Shivaratri Rajendra Circle to Chamarajendra Circle), Purandara Road (B Rachaiah Circle to Kusti Akada), Old Sayyaji Road Road (B Rachaiah Circle to Krishnaraja Wadiyar Circle) and Albert Victor Road (Jayachamarajendra Circle to Krishnaraja Wadiyar Circle) which are near Mysuru Palace.
