Rodríguez’s hitless stretch reached 13 at-bats until he ended it with an exclamation point. The 20-year-old belted a grand slam in his second plate appearance for his second home run since his promotion to Double-A and first since July 2, a span of 29 at-bats. Giants: Marco Luciano, SS (MLB No. 12), Low-A San Jose
Luciano has struggled in July, but looked a bit more like himself Wednesday as he went 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and a pair of runs scored. The 19-year-old drove home a run with an RBI double in the sixth and is hitting .271 through 56 games in his first full season.
