BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Multiple Tigers competed on Friday at Virginia Tech's Doc Hale Meet, starting the weekend off strong with several impressive performances. This marks Clemson' penultimate meet before the ACC Championship Meet hosted by Louisville. HIGHLIGHTS Antoinette Van der Merwe set a personal best in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.31. She finished second in the event. Guinove Joanus won the men's 60 meter dash, boasting a 6.76 second time. Mercy Ntia-Obong set a personal best in the 60 meter dash, completing the race in 7.51 seconds. That was the fastest time in the prelims. She finished fourth in the finals.  Alocius Kipngetich, Theron Bradford, Daniel Sullivan and Braden Blakely all set personal bests in the 800 meter.
