GAINESVILLE, S.C. -- Three Tigers set top-10 marks on Saturday to wrap up a successful Tom Jones Invitational. Two of the top-10 times came from the men's 800 meter run, as Tarees Rhoden and Aman Thornton both set personal bests in the event. The Tigers continued their run of good form this weekend and will be back in action on Saturday, Apr. 22 in Columbia, S.C. for the USC Open. SATURDAY HIGHLIGHTS Tarees Rhoden shot up to No. 2 in school history in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:46.20. He is just 0.73 off catching Kameron Jones for the school record in the event. He finished second in Gainesville. Aman Thornton finished third in the 800 meter run and moved up to No. 4 in school history with a personal best time of 1:46.82. Oneka Wilson made it onto the top-10 list with a 13.31 second 100 meter hurdles time. She now holds the No. 10 spot in school history.
