PINEVILLE, N.C. -- In its lone exhibition before entering the spring season, Clemson fell, 1-0, to North Carolina at CSA OrthoCarolina Sportsplex on Saturday afternoon. I saw that we played well and it was a really good exercise [for our team], said head coach Mike Noonan after the match. We had to deal with some adversity and I thought the character of the team was excellent although the result was not. Clemson will now set its sights on its spring season opener against Syracuse under the lights of Historic Riggs Field on March 7 at 5 p.m.
