Although the trio was spotted on 8 February, the rescue could not be completed until the next day due to bad weather.

Two men and one woman were recently rescued from an uninhabited Bahaman island after they survived for 33 days by just eating coconuts.
According to reports, the trio was rescued by the US Coast Guard on 9 February after having spent more than a month in Anguilla Cay.
The two men and the woman, who all hail Cuba, were spotted waving a flag towards one of the Coast Guard's aircraft while it was on a routine patrol, according to the Coast Guard's Southeast Twitter account.
