According to reports, the trio was rescued by the US Coast Guard on 9 February after having spent more than a month in Anguilla Cay. The two men and the woman, who all hail Cuba, were spotted waving a flag towards one of the Coast Guard s aircraft while it was on a routine patrol, according to the Coast Guard s Southeast Twitter account. ....

The woman and two men were found by aircraft crews doing routine patrols on Monday. U.S. Coast Guard aircrews say they made makeshift flags on Anguilla Cay, located in a chain of islands between the Lower Florida Keys and Cuba.
