Thousands given to charities by city centre business
CHARITIES helping vulnerable people will be able to go the extra mile thanks to a financial boost from a city centre business.
Housebuilder Mactaggart & Mickel, based in the Atlantic Quay, donated a total of £11,000 to 13 community organisations.
Director of the firm Joanne Casey said: “We have also reached out to key organisations with special one-off donations to support their vital work among those left most vulnerable by the social and economic impact of the biggest post-war challenge the UK has ever faced.”
Funds were handed out to organisations across the UK but include the Kindness Homeless Street Team Glasgow and the Scottish Association for Mental Health.
