Most explorers worshipped the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob Many of their sailors and occupants on the ships wanted to have that freedom and no longer be oppressed. Some of the occupants had diseases since they lived in close proximity. Science had not invented the necessary vaccines needed to cross the seas like we have today. On whom are we going to practice blame psychology? Perhaps on a man with a vision to better the human condition of that era? I beseech you to do an introspection.
