Team effort feeds the hungry in Mundelein
 
The Chapel Food Pantry, in partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank and three Mundelein school districts, holds a mobile pop-up food distribution Friday at the Mundelein Metra station. Enough food was prepackaged for 250 families.

A pop-up food distribution Friday at the Mundelein Metra station provided enough prepackaged food for 250 families. The Chapel Food Pantry, the Northern Illinois Food Bank and Mundelein school districts 75, 76 and 120 joined forces to help families in need.

Cars were lined up for 45 minutes Friday before the start of a pop-up food distribution at the Mundelein Metra station, organizers said.
