Taylor Wimpey confirms homes plan for Old Wharf Road, Stourbridge

TOWN-changing plans to build hundreds of homes on a former Stourbridge industrial site are gathering pace with the news that Taylor Wimpey has sealed a deal to transform the area.
The leading housebuilder has confirmed contracts have been exchanged for land off Old Wharf Road – next to the Stourbridge Canal.

More than 250 homes are planned for the industrial site which has been tipped for transformation into a waterside residential development for nearly two decades.
Outline planning permission for new homes was granted to landowners Revelan Developments in November and a 106 agreement completed – two years after plans were first lodged with Dudley Council.
