New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh minister Vishvas Kailash Sarang on Monday wrote to Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javdekar demanding a stay on streaming of the web series, 'Tandav'.
Earlier in a tweet, the Madhya Pradesh minister appealed to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to withdraw 'Tandav', while threatening to face a boycott of Amazon. "@JeffBezos Highly offending and provocative web series #Tandav on @PrimeVideoIN has hurt the sentiments of over 1 billion Hindus across the globe. I appeal to you to withdraw #tandavwebseries or face boycott of @amazon (sic)," he tweeted.
