DHAKA, April 17, 2021 (BSS)—Senior batsman Tamim Iqbal, youngsters Saif Hasan and Nazmul Hossain Shanto showed impressive performance on the first day of the inter-squad warm-up game today at CMCG at Katunayake in Sri Lanka.
The Tigers are playing this warm-up game amongst themselves as part of their preparation for the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka.
While Team Red is being led by Tamim Iqbal, Test captain Mominul Haque is leading Team Green.
After practicing two days following a three-day room quarantine, it is the first time the Tigers are playing a match.
