Taskin replaces Saifuddin as concussion substitute

Right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed has been named as a concussion substitute for Mohammad Saifuddin who suffered a nasty blow on his helmet in the second ODI of the three-match series against Sri Lanka on Tuesday.
During the 47th over bowled by Dushmantha Chameera, Saifuddin had suffered the blow on his helmet and right after that, he ran himself out for 11 off 30 balls.
Before Sri Lanka started to chase the target of 247 runs, the BCB media department confirmed that Saifuddin won’t take part in this game anymore.
Bangladesh posted 246 for 10 in 48.1 overs riding on 125 by Mushfiqur Rahim. It was the eighth ODI by the wicketkeeper-batsman.

All the Bangladeshi batsmen spent substantial time in the middle while off-spinner Mehidy Hasan grabbed three wickets as the tourists complete their two-day practice game at the CMC, Katunayke in Sri Lanka on Sunday.
Bangladesh Green ended their innings scoring 225 in 71 overs with Liton Das 64 (retired) while skipper Mominul Haque scored 47 and Mohammad Mithun managed 28 along with Shoriful scoring unbeaten 20 runs.

DHAKA, April 17, 2021 (BSS) Senior batsman Tamim Iqbal, youngsters Saif Hasan and Nazmul Hossain Shanto showed impressive performance on the first day of the inter-squad warm-up game today at CMCG at Katunayake in Sri Lanka.
The Tigers are playing this warm-up game amongst themselves as part of their preparation for the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka.
While Team Red is being led by Tamim Iqbal, Test captain Mominul Haque is leading Team Green.
After practicing two days following a three-day room quarantine, it is the first time the Tigers are playing a match.
