Sudbury man who didn't report to probation officer jailed

A man who said he wouldn’t report to his probation officer anymore ‘dead or alive’ will spend the next 30 days in jail for violating a probation order to do just that.
Ontario Court Justice John Keast said he had little choice but to send Michel Fortin to jail. If he didn’t, “I am blessing the breach. He has to do what he is supposed to. I don’t know how I can get around that.
