BUCYRUS - Even in the best of times, Cindy Wallis of Community Counseling Service, Inc., hates March.
"March is usually a high tide for depression — because it's like we're on the cusp of it, but it's not here, so people start to get some hope and then we get these dreary days, and we get another snowstorm and COVID's still out there," Wallis said. "Usually when we get to April we start to see things spike up a little bit, in a good way.
"March Madness isn't just about basketball. It's generally, for our mental health field, it's usually a tough month."
