STRATFORD — It’s unclear who will win November’s election for mayor, but one thing is certain: whoever it is will be getting more money than the position pays now.
The Town Council voted 7-3 last week to approve a roughly 12 percent raise for the town’s chief elected official — from $110,000 currently to $122,945 — to take effect next year and be followed by annual 2.25 percent increases.
