STOUGHTON, MA — Stoughton voters will head to the polls Tuesday, April 6 for the 2021 Town Election.
One contested race will headline the Stoughton town election, and that's for the Select Board.
Select Board Vice Chair Steve Cavey is up for re-election, but former Select Board Chair Bob O'Regan decided not to run again. This means Cavey and three challengers: David Lurie, Jarred Rose and Scott Carrara will compete for two seats.
A third seat will also become available with the resignation of Chair Christine Howe. The Brockton Enterprise reported Howe accepted a government job in Idaho and will be moving. Her seat will be filled in a special election this year.
