Stoneham’s Human Rights Commission attends active bystander training

On Jan. 14, Stoneham’s Human Rights Commission members Dennis Sheehan and Lieutenant Tony Kranefuss of the Stoneham Police Department participated in an active bystander training workshop, coordinated by Donna Gaffey and funded by the TA office, presented by Quabbin Mediation of Orange.
The Human Rights Commission, established by the Select Board in June 2019, has been actively exploring how to educate Stoneham to find ways to ensure that all residents enjoy equal human rights and equal opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, religion, marital, family or military status, socioeconomic status or disability.
