State Police investigating fatal pedestrian crash in Framingham

A Marlborough man was killed Saturday on the Massachusetts Turnpike.
The unidentified 57-year-old man died after a tractor-trailer driven by a 67-year-old New Jersey man crashed into the man's disabled 2007 Nissan Murano in the righthand lane of Interstate 90 eastbound at the 116.2-mile marker in Framingham.
According to a state police press release, the man was standing next to his disabled vehicle when it was struck by the rig just before 6 a.m.
Troopers and EMS responded the scene to find the driver had suffered fatal injuries.
The State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, the State Police Crime Scene Services Section, the State Police Detective Unit for Middlesex County, and State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section continue to investigate the crash.
