Two Drivers Killed In A Crash in Chicopee Have Been Identified

Get our free mobile app The two drivers that were killed in a crash on I-391 in Chicopee Tuesday night have been identified. According to Massachusetts State Police at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday Massachusetts State Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on I-391 southbound in Chicopee. I-391 had to be closed from exit 4 to exit 3 Southbound due to the serious motor vehicle crash. The drivers of a 2001 Acura MDX and a 2010 Kia Soul were killed after both vehicles crashed into trees. The state police investigation suggests that both vehicles were in the center lane and both entered the left lane to pass another vehicle that was in the center lane. Both vehicles moved back into the center lane.

Police responded to the ramp of Route 95 South to Route 10 in Amesbury for the rollover. Inside the Freightliner, was 70-year-old Kenneth Green of Searsport, Maine. The investigation into the cause of the cause is ongoing. More details will be added as they become. ©WLNE-TV/ABC6 2021

Three killed in wrong-way crash on I-84 in Sturbridge

Three women from three different states were killed. Author: Bill Flood Updated: 8:24 PM EDT April 18, 2021 STURBRIDGE, Mass. Police are investigating a crash that killed three people on I-84 in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The crash was apparently caused by a wrong-way drive.  At approximately 6 p.m. Saturday, Massachusetts State Troopers responded to reports of a crash involving a 2009 Nissan Murano traveling west in the eastbound lanes of Route 84, prior to Exit 6B. The westbound car struck a Volvo traveling east on the eastbound side. The crash resulted in fatal injuries to the operator of the Nissan, identified as Deyja Jackson, age 40, of Worcester, and fatal injuries to the operator and passenger in the Volvo, identified as Irene Karam, 83, of Manchester, N.H. and Patricia Knauer, 62, of Deland, Fla. respectively.
