Stardom beckons for Reuben

A 25-year-old songwriter from Enniscorthy is on the cusp of international stardom after being signed to leading British music label, 3ToneMusic, and releasing his debut single, 'Sold My Soul'.
Reuben Hester is a past pupil of St Aidan's Parish School and Enniscorthy Vocational College, having moved to Enniscorthy from the UK when he was two-years-old.
He recently featured on the show, Little Mix The Search, which was aimed at finding young singers good enough to form a boyband to support Little Mix on tour.
Through that Reuben endeared himself to the massively successful chart-topping band.
Such was the impression that he made on the superstars that they actually kicked him off the show before the final live shows because they felt he'd be better off as a solo artist.
