New reports reveal that Lavigne was previously investigated in the 2018 death his friend and fellow special forces operator Sgt. First Class Mark Leshikar
Lavigne fatally shot Leshikar in front of his five-year-old daughter
He claimed that Leshikar was acting 'paranoid' and had threatened him in his own home with a screwdriver
Yet no screwdriver was found at the scene and Lavigne's accounts of the shooting showed inconsistencies
A special force investigation wrote that Lavigne was not credible yet Leshikar was still found to have died in the line of duty
