The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office is now offering a $25,000 reward for information to help solve a 2007 homicide. On the 14th anniversary of the death of Crystal Bradshaw, 28, the sheriff's office is begging the public to come forward with information.A billboard with Crystal's face and information sits on Boiling Springs Road near the Ingles.Sheriff Chuck Wright says Crystal Bradshaw, 28, was found dead in her Boiling Springs home on June 3, 2007. They believe she was killed in the late hours of June 2.“If you have information, no matter how minute you think it may be, I want you to let us be the deciding factor in whether it’s useful to us or not because there are a lot of things that people see or a lot of things people have thought about, and later it comes to you and you’re thinking, ‘Well, they already know that,’" Wright said. "Please don’t assume that.” Wright says someone called the fire department very early on the morning of June 3, 2007, because they saw flames coming from her home.He says Crystal had only lived there for around four months. He says she was home alone that night because she and her husband were separated, and he was taking care of their son so she could go to work.Crystal worked at the Peach Blossom Diner on Highway 9 and I-85. Wright says she worked the morning shift and also attended Spartanburg Community College.“The night of the homicide, an unknown person was seen in the carport of the home when it was engulfed in flames," Wright said. "Neighbors were gathering and trying to help, and the person left the scene before we could talk with them or anybody could identify who it was.” The sheriff's office has this sketch of a person of interest, but they do not know who that person is or their relation to Crystal. Wright is asking the public for any information, big or small, to help them find a suspect and solve this case.“You may have been in a struggling position or in a bad position when all this took place and had a little information you really wanted to tell someone but didn’t know how to. Let me just say this to you," he said. "I pray that you are in a different spot.” The billboard with Crystal's photo and information will stay up for the next few weeks.Wright says the $25,000 reward is good for a year.If you have any information, please contact Investigator Diane Lestage with the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office Unsolved Homicide Unit at 864-503-4556.
