South Union St. hit-and-run leaves Henrietta woman seriously injured

A woman suffered serious injuries after she was struck by a car in Rochester Monday night, according to Rochester police.
Emergency responders were called to South Union Street, near Howell Street and parking garage at The Strong Museum of Play, around 11:30 p.m. to investigate the incident.
Rochester Police Capt. Sam Lucyshyn said that a 47-year-old Henrietta woman was struck by a sedan, which fled the scene. The woman, whose name was not released, was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries and was listed in critical condition Tuesday morning, he said.
