The Titans got the start they needed on Monday night as they hit early 3’s and got some stops. Brennan Holder and Eli Wheelock knocked down deep three’s and Joshua Dietrich was outstanding inside with 6 points and 3 rebounds early as the Titans built a 17-8 lead with just over 2:00 left in the 1st quarter. Boyden Hull turned a couple steals into points to end the 1st quarter and their 8-0 run cut the Titan lead to 17-16. The Comets grabbed their first lead early in the 2nd quarter but SCC answered with a bucket and went up 22-18. For the second time in the half the Comets answered with a double digit run 11-0 and went ahead for good. They lead 29-22 after the run. The Titans got a bucket just before half but Boyden Hull answered with an offensive rebound and put back just before the buzzer and led 33-26 at half.
