SLEEPY EYE — Sleepy Eye Public School Superintendent John Cselovszki said at Wednesday’s board meeting that the school will return to daily in-person learning for all students on Monday, March 1.
He said seventh and eighth-graders will return to daily, in-person learning on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
“We have only a couple students in (COVID-19) quarantine and one student in isolation,” said Cselovszki. “This is the lowest number of students there since COVID-19 began.”
Several board members voiced optimism about returning to daily, in-person learning for high school students instead of a hybrid model that has been followed since school began last fall.
