Sky Deutschland, the German arm of Comcast-owned European pay TV giant Sky, on Thursday unveiled plans for original series
The Ibiza Affair.
The four-part fictional show from Sky Studios and German studio Leonine’s W&B Television tells the story behind a real-life political scandal in Austria. In May 2019, German news outlets published a secretly recorded video of a meeting between two high-ranking Austrian politicians and a woman posing as the niece of a Russian oligarch in a finca, or country house, in Ibiza, triggering a scandal that led to the end of the country's coalition government.
