Bavaria Fiction hires Sky exec in rejig German production company Bavaria Fiction is reorganising its top management, with Marcus Ammon joining the company from Sky Deutschland as MD of content. Long-time overall joint MD Jan S Kaiser will become MD of production and finance once Ammon arrives in the autumn, while his fellow joint MD, Manfred Haus-Pflüger, will leave the company at the end of the financial year after five years. Ammon will assume responsibility for the content of all Bavaria Fiction’s productions and projects. In particular, he will focus on the development, acquisition and exploitation of TV, streaming and film programmes, including casting, as well as PR and marketing.
