Galindo, another great place for lunch, stuck in permit purgatory for four years, is now in business. Here in the richmond, tens of thousands of residents have filed for unemployment, are looking for jobs, where businesses are getting more and more creative in how they share spaces and how they attract business. We have so many good places to go for lunch, but i know, its all good. But i am just so grateful. Id like to start off by expressing my enthusiasm for the recent announcement of president elect joe biden and Vice President elect Kamala Harris im optimistic that the new administration will be beneficial for the transbay downtown rail extension project. Most of you may know, president elect joe biden is a win for infrastructure. Amtrak joe, biden is the guy to understands transportation from the passenger perspective and shows he will look to make Infrastructure Investment a hallmark of his administering. Administration. Weve been having conversations with our federal Advocacy Team to leverage the opportunities. To prepare for the biden presidency which starts noon on january 20, Democratic Leaders in the house and senate are already preparing for the first 100 days priority. Among the items is an infrastructure bill. This past summer under the leadership of speaker pelosi, the housing passed a stimulus bill called the moving forward act. Current thinking indicates that the moving forward act will guide in the first 100 days. Outside of congress were expecting to see changes for the better. Particularly, as they relate to the federal Transit Administration and the Capital Investment grants pipeline. We expect to see the Biden Administration reverse many actions taken over the last four years, which have forced local governments to shoulder exceedingly higher cost shares.
