(BALTIMORE, MD) Thomas V. Mike Miller, Senate President Emeritus, will lie in state in the rotunda of the Maryland State House on Thursday and Friday.
Miller died at age 78.
In 2019, he announced his battle with prostate cancer. He resigned from his Senate seat in December.
Governor Hogan tweeted about the loss of his lifelong friend,

At 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021, Maryland State Police Honor Guard will escort Senate President Emeritus Thomas V. Mike Miller, Jr. from Lee Funeral Home in Clinton to stops throughout his district including Senator Miller’s law offices (8808 Old Branch Ave in Clinton, and 2981 Penwick Lane in Dunkirk), the Prince George’s Fire Department in Clinton, MD (9025 Woodyard Rd), Surrattsville High School (6101 Garden Dr), Chesapeake Beach, and Herrington Harbor.
