A Seattle chef and three-time James Beard Award semifinalist will be taking to the small screen to represent the Emerald City in Bravo's "Top Chef: Portland" this spring.
Adana's Shota Nakajima will be one of 15 chef contestants competing for a grand prize of $250,000 on the new season of the popular cooking competition.
He described the past year as an "emotional roller coaster" that involved him closing his upscale Capitol Hill restaurant, Adana, in May 2020 as the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and stay home orders rippled through the city's food scene.
