San Antonio brewery in legal brouhaha with Austin beer maker

Dorćol Distilling and Brewing is taking an Austin-based brewery to court over its "Betty" beer.
The San Antonio company says St. Elmo Co. is infringing on copyrights for its "Betty Kölsch" ale with the Austin brewery's "Betty Blackberry Sour" beer.
According to a court petition, St. Elmo has been profiting by giving its beer a name that's similar to Dorćol's ale.
St. Elmo Brewing Co. in Austin is being accused of copying Dorćol's ale with their "Betty Blackberry Sour" beer. Dorćol is taking the company to court, being represented by intellectual property law firm Gunn, Lee & Cave of San Antonio.
