ALTON — Graduatiuon ceremonies are returning this year to the area, either in-person or virtually.
The area’s first graduation of the season is planned at Mt. Olive High School on Saturday, May 8. The ceremony is planned in the high school gym at 7 p.m.
Alton High School is planning two separate ceremonies to adhere to social distancing practices.
Ceremonies are planned for 7 p.m. Friday, May 28, and 11 a.m., Saturday, May 29 — both at the Alton Public School Stadium. In case of inclement weather, both ceremonies will be moved to the high school.
