BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Bishop William Henderson, best known in Buffalo's Black community for being the longtime pastor of the historic Michigan Street Baptist Church, has passed away.
His family shared the news Tuesday, calling him a man dedicated to God who began his ministry career when he was just 15.
"He was more than just a minister, he was someone that knew people and loved everybody and anybody. And that was a big part of his personal life was care and compassion," said his youngest daughter, Rachel Henderson.
