Former employees at Rehab Logistics in Raheen may work alongside each other once again with the prospects of a retraining programme on the horizon.
Rehab Group have confirmed they are applying to the Department of Social Protection for the Activation Family Support Programme.
If approved, it would allow the 37 workers to retrain and upskill as a group for future employment.
Deputy O'Donnell says the workers and their families would welcome such a scheme.
