Province partners with local group to protect Great Lakes

Local MPPs recently announced the Ontario government will invest $6 million in supporting 30 multi-year projects to help protect, conserve and restore the Great Lakes.

The investments are aimed at reducing plastic litter, excess nutrients and road salt entering lakes, rivers and streams, advancing climate resiliency, and making significant progress on restoring environmentally degraded areas of the Great Lakes.
