Vikram Dhaktode,
producer of upcoming Marathi film Tarri, for allegedly duping Punebased otorhinolaryngologist and actor-producer Amol Kagane to the tunes of Rs 30 lakh.
Police have lodged a first information report (
FIR) against Dhaktode under sections 420 (cheating) and 406 (criminal breach of trust) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). A resident of
Wanawadi, (ear, nose and throat) ENT specialist Kagane (29) — the complainant in this case — has essayed many roles in Marathi movies, including Halal and Lathe Joshi, and has financed several movies in the regional language. Dhaktode, on the other hand, is the founder of Vikram Creations and Media Entertainment firm.
