Poole man airlifted to hospital after A35 crash near Bere Regis
A MAN in his 70s was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after his pick-up truck collided with a tipper lorry and a Range Rover.
The injured man, who is from Poole, was taken to hospital by ambulance following the early morning crash near Bere Regis yesterday.
Police were called to the A35 at Sugar Hill at 7.20am, as reported in the Daily Echo.
The collision involved a tipper lorry, a Mitsubishi L200 truck and a black Range Rover.
The driver of the Mitsubishi – a man aged in his 70s and from the Poole area – suffered serious injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital. His condition remains serious, but stable.
