And plans are moving forward for the hospital’s next phase are too.
On Thursday night, the Hampden Township Planning Commission recommended the final land development plan for Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center – Phase 2A at the Wentworth Corporate Center.
Phase 2A includes a 94,050-square-foot, three-story medical office building, which will be built adjacent to the north side of the hospital building. Construction of the medical office building and the 114,400-square-foot, four level parking garage could begin as early as this fall, officials previously said. The building and the garage are expected to completed next year. The phase also includes surface parking on both sides of the building.
